Issues, policies and community-based movements affecting women of color
have dramatically changed over the past 50 years. While we have more
visibility and power within our own communities and the mainstream, women of
color continue to be disproportionately affected by violence and discrimination,
lack basic access to education and health services, and lack legal recourse for
violations to their human rights. Hear from women working to address
critical issues affecting women of color in the US and working to build national
and international linkages through community, political and legal support.
