NW WOMEN OF COLOR AND ALLIES SUMMIT COMING TO TACOMA, WA, THIS NOVEMBER!

More than a dozen organizations and numerous women community leaders throughout the Northwest are organizing a NW Women of Color and Allies Summit in Tacoma, WA, this November 8-11, hosted by the Korean Women’s Association. This NW regional gathering will involve hundreds of women and the men who love us to address critical issues in education, employment, health care, violence, families and communities and leave with a Platform of Action to bring home to their communities and states. Women from the six state NW Region of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington and Wyoming are meeting together to plan the 2-1/2 day Summit. Inspiring Keynote speakers, action workshops, arts and cultural performances, networking, a women’s marketplace, opening Reception and closing Brunch are just some of the exciting activities being planned by the Convening groups.

Planning Committees need you and include: Program; Communications & Outreach, Fundraising, Host and Logistics; Food; Volunteers Coordination; Women’s Marketplace. Contributions of your time -- no matter how much -- would make a great difference to the success of this important Summit.
