The Maker’s Uprising
A Feminist Artisan Market
Vendor Information Page
Seattle NOW is a grassroots, all-volunteer chapter organizing for bold intersectional change. We fight for reproductive justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial equity, and policies that prioritize people over profit.
Be a part of our largest event of the year- Rise Up NOW!
Every year, we throw a celebration to recognize advocates in our local community who have made an impact in the fight for gender justice. We have music, great snacks, local wine, and direct action opportunities amidst a robust crowd of feminist activists eager to support women-led businesses.
This year we’re introducing another way to build power and support local women—The Maker’s Uprising—a feminist vendor market.
Showcase your creations to a deeply engaged audience that cares about putting their money where their politics are.

This is Seattle NOW’s primary fundraising event of the year; we’ve worked hard to make this vendor market accessible with a low booth fee—$35 for 1 table, $60 for 2—and we ask for 10% of your proceeds on the night-of. We are an all-volunteer, grassroots organization working towards legal, social, and economic equality for all women and girls, learn more about our work and mission here; we’re grateful to partner with you.
-
All vendors will be provided a 6’ x 6’ table, up to 3 chairs, and a tablecloth. And that’s all we provide. So please be prepared with your own electrical cords, tape, setups, payment capture, whatever else you need for your display; or note additional needs and questions in your application form.
We’ll try to arrange the booths based on your product type and space needed, so please let us know if you have any preferences for accommodation / what other setup materials you may plan to bring (ie if you sell clothing and would bring a clothing rack)
Your booth space will be approximately 8’ x 8’ total. Signage like pop-up banners are okay. If you want to bring additional tables or any setup, just plan to fit within the 8x8 space.
-
There is WIFI, you will be responsible for bringing your own form of payment capture (Stripe, Venmo)
-
Vendors are able to book up to two tables. Checkout and payment will come after the vendor application deadline, but please note that you’d like two tables in your application form.
-
Applications to be a vendor are due by August 1st. All vendors will be selected and notified by August 10th, and we’ll collect payment at that point. After that, we’ll share details on parking, load-in/out, and provide a floor plan for the event venue.
